They were going to deliver the ticket but they got in a fight, ran out of money and their horses died of exhaustion, so they got drunk on their friends' money and fell asleep on the ground. Sounds likely!
I was calling them all last night (they closed at 10) initially they said they could only redeliver on Thursday! They failed to call me back three times and finally told me it had be rescheduled for delivery today. They don't allow you to pick things up from their Depot :(
Try pointing out that if you don't get it you'll be out by £xxx and will be claiming against them for it, quite publically. Say all you want is to get your ticket, and could they not make an exception just this once and let you collect it from the depot.
Bereasonable and polite, but be persistent (very persistent). Don't let them fob you off until they agree to something that works for you. Eventually they will agree.
Download have recalled all undelivered tickets now, as it was getting too close to the event date. I've just been through all this too. All undelivered tickets should be collectable at the box office at the venue, as of this morning at 9am, or so I've been told by sweinhodge who works at Ticketmaster.
This (http://forums.downloadfestival.co.uk/tm.aspx?m=776711) might be worth checking out too, if you haven't already. There's a useful phone no posted a little way down the thread.
Which delivery company is it? SMS? All tickets held by SMS were supposed to have been sent back to Ticketmaster on Monday morning (so as to be available at the box office from this morning). I spoke to sweinhodge yesterday, as I was getting really pissed off and anxious about getting the ticket in time - and he quite definitely said that no more tickets were being delivered. :-/ I'd call the delivery company again if I were you and double check. Or call Ticketmaster on 0870 153 5353 and speak to them.
Oh yeah, and I'd advise you to complain later on, after the event - you'll almost definitely get a discount for next year.
Yep; it's SMS who allegedly tried to deliver my ticket to me yesterday (but failed). SMS's help line is terrible as well, as I'm sure you've found out.
