Btw if you've ever wondered about using linux but thought it was too damn strange:

Very friendly, and based on debian so pretty powerful under the hood too.

Oh I've shellscripted and hacked my way through linux and unix before (well, about 10 years ago, eeep!) just I have no real reason to use linux since the principal apps I use (games) aren't particularly linux friendly!
