What a storming weekend! Summarising it all; Friday was a great night out at EB; the music was loud and bouncy the people were bouncy and great (loads of wondrous people there, they know who they are, too many to list!), they played some wonderfully cheesy music (Fade to Grey, A Forest, Sweet Transvestite, yay!) a little too much stomppunk for my tastes, but ah well... and it all ended on a Prodigy track that I half killed myself dancing to, huzah! Saturday I was going to go and look around the Aztec display at the royal academy of arts, but the queue was huuuuuuuuge. Instead I indulged in some retail therapy; I bought myself some stomptastic new pointy boots, finally a second pair of non-combat Goth trousers and a pileload of CD's from the Psychedelic Something Temple in Camden. Total cash spent… ahhhh, not thinking about it.
Latest band discovery: Aes Dana (Episode 5 album) a euphoria style group, their style is way way relaxing, great 'doze in the bath' music.
Cam game in the evening, which went ok, even if various things went horribly wrong, queue my interest in the Cam slipping still further... typical after I waited a year to get the damn character... I'll stick it. There was however an excellent metal modern art statue of the Golden Hind (a ship) near the venue though, very nifty - wish I'd brought my Camera.
Sunday was a clean/slob and slob some more day.
Total amount of Everquest online time for whole weekend: 15 mins. I am Jack's cured addiction.
Hmmm, new keyboard on my spanky new PC at work; it's a 'squishy' style keyboard rather than the 'clicky' style; I used to prefer 'clicky' style... but using this more and more 'squishy' is definitely becoming more appealing.
Note to our MIS department - blocking access to the winamp site is about the most pointless thing you can do, when there’s a bazillion mirrors for it around the world. Muhahaha. Winamp now installed. Bliss.
Well, that’s my life in oranges, have a good one... back to slowly rebuilding all my links and directory structures on this new PC, beats working down a coal mine, I can tell you.
