After a bit of fiddling around last night and finally getting around to watch Nemesis (No, not the Star Trek film, an early 80's budget cyberpunk film - which was pretty good!) I finally managed to find a way to rip pictures from my DVD's as they play to use as backdrops. Now this isn't as easy as you may think, since it seems that most players do some wierd sh!t with Direct X and you can't screengrab using the printscreen key. After trying a couple of screengrab programs (which were useless) I found that one of my DVD players has a screen capture option, huzah! So now the closing scene from Fight Club (the buildings) is now adorning my desktop. Well, it's just a romantic moment, plus it looks nifty.
I'm sure you wanted to know that.
Heh. One of my work colleages is whistling the A-Team theme tune - that I don't actually mind.
