robinblokeWell here's 10 things about me, that is if I can think of 10 things I can say...
1. I'm allergic to cats, fairly mildly so but if a cat with fine hair is shedding I have trouble breathing and get exceedingly wheesy.
2. I love to travel and I've been to quite a few different countries, most of all I like to visit ancient cultural sites. I need to visit Egypt.
3. I'm extremely short sighted, my focal point is about a foot from my nose. This is a result from having been hit by a car when I was, most probably, 12. I've been considering laser surgery off and on for this.
4. I don't wear a watch, me and watches just don't get on. The longest any watch has ever survived for me is about 2 months before it fell apart. The most recent one I bought (for a prop) I broke before I'd even left the marketplace where I'd bought it.
5. I'm a shopaholic, not so much the buying stuff but the spending money. I'm a total impulse buyer and will often spend half an hour wandering around a shop I only went into to buy some milk and buy a load of extra stuff, especially food. My freezer is rarely even half empty.
6. I love dogs, far more than cats, and would really like one as a pet but don't have the time or the heart to own one as I wouldn't have the time to pay attention to it.
7. I hate driving. Driving is dead time and parking, other road users and the bordom of travel really irk me. I passed my driving test 4th time, after I missed the 3rd one due to getting the times wrong.
8. My ultimate job would be to be an author, I write a few scraps here and there, mostly small poems and anecdotes. Well I say job, but it's more the thing I would most like to do with my time. I don't have much confidence or patience unfortunately. Some of my offerings lurk here.
9. My favourite colour is actually forest green, I love trees and forests and autumn. Ok, thats a fairly dull fact, but I'm struggling here...

Date: 2001-11-23 02:10 am (UTC)11. My middle name is 'Innes' and although I like it (name chosen by my mother because it was nice) I don't openly advertise it as I like to occasionally confuse people by having them guess what it is. Ian is the usual one, Robin Ian Langridge? Ick.
