With the last of the mystic sugar gone and the afternoons high kicked started from a chocolate pud at the company restaurant I feel compelled to find out another of lifes mysteries; namely does anyone else actually like raisins?

Reason is that said chocolate pud at lunch was a bread and butter pudding with chocolate chips instead of raisins, delish.

So...

Raisins are yummy! Particularly if you are a bunny (or need to bribe a bunny). Where would fruit cake be without raisins?? Speaking of which, sultanas, cherries and mixed fruit peel are also good.

Well, ideally (as far as I'm concerned) a fruitcake should be sealed in a concrete box as far away as possible from me!

No no, it should be given to me.

If I ever happen across any homeless, lonely, wandering fruit cakes I shall pass them to your tender care.

Soak them in 180 proof Austrian rum. It makes them the happy little grapes the gods intended.

ok,I ticked the biscuit option, but that's not strictly true.
What I wanted to say was "they are only ok in buscuit and raisin yorkies."

Om nom nom...

It's true, then it has been poisoned by raisins...

The only good raisin is a soft swollen one in a bread and butter pudding or spotty dick (for our foreign readers this is an english pudding, not a disease)

Hard biscuits are the only place I'll put up with the little blighters.

Actually, I saw a stoat the other day - it ran across the road under my feet with a fully-fledged (and soon to be devoured) rabbit in it's mouth.

Raisins to be cheerful? PS B&B pudd with dark chocolate and apricots is delish, as is B&B pud with white chocolate and raspberries. Both specialities of mine : )

Unusual beastie to see; seems you get all sorts of strange creatures around your place, goth squirrels, stoats...

Raisins to be cheerful. Terrible! Heh. :)
