Normally I don't pay much attention to this sort of this; just that I remember someone (possibly davywavy) saying that she'd do just this after rehab and tearful confessions.

Not really a surprise at all; next step? Part in a Bollywood film perhaps?

She's been to India before now (mainly on business) but I think C4 were setting up a 'Jade goes to India' documentary to help ease her back into public life by showing that she isn't a racialist.

I haven't followed the link you sent (sorry) so the story might be about this.

Not at all surprised she's getting media attention by going though. All part of the big scheme of things to acquit C4 and Jade from any wrong doing.
