Getting to Santiago and coming back from Buenos Aires won't be fun.
I'll leave Cambridge at about 8am Wednesday and will be in Santiago in the early afternoon Thursday local time (early evening here), that's 30+ hours and I probably won't get up to much in Santiago but lazing around in my hotel room.
I am, however, hoping for no cloud cover over the Andes as I have a window seat. :o)
As soon as I'm settled in on the ship, it'll be a lot easier. It's like a swimming hotel and every time you go out there's something new to explore.
Instant site-to-site transporters would be so much easier. "Computer! Transport myself and my luggage to room 639 at [name of hotel], Santiago. Energise!"
Can't wait.
