I now have a new pet! Thanks to sogoth and claire_wain.

It's small and rather cute, it's completely housetrained and seems quite happy sitting on my desk at the moment.

My other pets are currently called Spleen and Llama. Any suggestions for the new one?

Yep! Need to get it a little pcmcia wireless card and a wireless node point for my network.

Plus I may have to drill a hole through the wall; depending on if I use the tablet as a stand alone or not; doubt it will have the audio out to cope with running an amp!

If it has a headphone jack it can be run into a line-in or aux port on a hi-fi. If you're getting an actual amp so levelling magic may need to happen. Draw me some diagrams and I'll see what advice I can give or get for you.
