I've been mercifully free of that kind of thing since I stopped being an I.T. Manager. Though, thinking about it, rage at cold callers was refreshingly cathartic, and maybe I actually miss it…

I had for my old number but this was kind of an experiment to see how long this number got out when I'd not given it to anyone except my mum and the_mendicant. About 2 months, fiends.

They're allowed to pick numbers at random nowadays, it seems; in the good old days they had to get them out of the telephone directory.

Worse, they can ignore the TPS with impunity if they make the calls from India.
