Whoever dreamt up the Animal Winter Olympics as a program on BBC 1 last night is nothing short of a genius.

Sometimes it is worth watching TV.

I know one thing that would have been better than the programme. The look on the commissioning editor's face when the producer made his pitch.

Apparently the BBC did a similar Animal Olympics programme 2 years ago. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that they release a double DVD set

I'd just woken up after five hours sleep after getting in from Slimelight to be met with THAT on the TV. It didn't help my mental state at all!

Agreed .. it was class TV with Motty and the Guy from Robot wars just getting the commentary so on the nail !
