You use semi-colons far too much; you use them when they are completely unnecessary; often when you use them a hyphen or a simple comma would do the job admirably.

Odd. I thought that I very rarely used semicolons, more that my problem was with vastly long sentences due to the overuse of commas to keep them going and going and...
