Me: Ah, that's a shame.
Saleslady: We do have another one, but it's not in chrome so it doesn't look as good as the other one.
Me: You mean it's a kind of retro chic fan?
Saleslady: Well, sort of.
Me: I could paint it in psycadelic colours and have people stare at it so they think they're in the seventies.
Saleslady: Yes, that would work... and it is bigger than the other one.
Me: Well, size isn't everything - so I'm told, although this may be an exception for fans.
Saleslady: I couldn't possibly comment.
Me: Of course, this is a proffessional conversaion.
