A lyrics quiz, because the day is going slowly...

1. Any one is my world every one is my world.
Ordinary world - Duran Duran
2. All you distrust, all that you save.
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
3. Give me all the storybook told me.
Hymn - Ultravox
4. Perhaps the strange ones in the dome can lend us a book we can read up alone.
Drive in Saturday - David Bowie
5. I've broken my fall put an end to it all I've changed my routine.
Clean - Depeche Mode
6. Then wipe the lipstick hearts and flowers from the glass and chrome.
The only living boy in new cross - Carter USM
7. ...and joker in-between the kebab shop and the taxi rank.
8. Times when the day is like a play by Sartre, when it seems a bookburning's in perfect order.
Afternoons and Coffee Spoons - The Crash Test Dummies
9. To journey on past all these satin sheets and lift it past all of our control.
Air we breathe - Alisha's Attic
10. I've never seen a man eat so many chicken wings!
What Would Brian Boytano Do? Pt.II - D.V.D.A.

I'll be impressed if anyone gets the last one :)

Selected by winamp on random play, no repeat artists and I thought trying to answer instrumental only ones was cruel...

1) Ordinary World - Duran Duran

All the others sound fantastic, as well. Or just plain wrong. :) Surely I should know more than this.

I miss you.

I must say, that last is not nearly so hard as you might have thought... I was far too late to be the first to nab it, but it was reverberating in my head when first I read the lines. Semi-fortuitously, it managed to drive out the previous inhabitant, one of the first few tracks on the Hackers Soundtrack CD I finally rediscovered in my Piles O Crap From College. Now I just need something appropriate for likewise repelling WWBBD...
