Been off at a first aid course first two days of this week and learning about all the wierd and wonderful ways the body reacts to shock has stimulated my interest of biology, or blood vessels at least.
I never knew so much about them all, that blood is colourless, what histamine is, why chopping off a leg could be a good idea if it's been trapped for a long time (not that we're meant to do that, but hey)

Back at work and chaos reigns supreme again. Although my brain has been refusing to flip out for several weeks now, damn you brain! Shakes fist at sky... pauses... shakes fist at face... pauses... realises work colleagues may be staring...
