Sorry, brief Shakin' Stevens' moment there... just got to me as it occured that this journal has fallen from my old style of whittering about what my life is doing in general to more of a pondering about life the universe and custard. Each has it's own infinite fascination in it's own special little way.

But yes, now for your delight and entertainment a roundup of my weekend, if you want it.

Well Friday I drove over to see the wonderous the_mendicant and had a wonderful chilled out evening of noodles, enjoying rolling guitar solos and her lovely company. Mmmm. Hard week ahead for her and family, so hope all goes well today especially. *fans good thoughts their way*
Saturday was razornets birthday party, which although a little quiet was a fine evening indeed; a lot of booze was drunk, good conversations - from philosphy to religion and onto astrophysics - and the discovery that a blanket I'd bought was really really comfy and warm.
And Sunday was drpyrojames and scy11a post wedding party with bonus roast dinner as cooked by scylla mmmm. Yummy roast beef, and super-tasty gravy and tatties. (Shush stomach, you have to wait) Loads of wonderful wedding photos, loads of chat and great people there, lovely evening in all.
