Since several people have expressed interested this Saturday myself and the lovely the_mendicant will be going to see A Midsummer Night's Dream at Girton College Gardens as part of the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival. Anyone else interested?

I am semi tempted to tart up for it big time...

*gasp* I could never do that! I've decided I'm going to walk around the Tower of London in a Tudor dress, possibly a copy of Anne Boleyn's, if I get around to making one. But it's sort of bad manners to turn up in period costume to an event where there are actors who are wearing the same, unless you're also an actor. Especially so if your costume is more authentic and better than the actors' as will probably happen if this is a university production.
