Build your own adventure

You are standing outside a low stone building, there is a single door on this side that looks to be made of wood and metal. Behind you a trail winds back down the hill and away into the distance. It is approaching nightfall, the sun is tinging the sky and clouds pink with it's dying rays.
What do you do?

I will write you a "build your own adventure" style story if you leave a comment, just ask for a genre and give me a brief description of yourself and then say what you want to do, the rest will unfold...

The mat quickly loses it's smug expression and starts making indignant noises instead, the door starts to shout "No! Nothing under him, oi, listen to me!"
Under the mat you find a shiny silver key, the mat mutters about "Rude to move someone without asking."
The door eyes you suspiciously.

Put the key into the keyhole on the door, smile smugly and try andopen it.

The door makes pathetic sounding choking noises that are obviously faked when you put the key into it.
There is a loud 'clunk' noise and a bell rings above your head, confetti blasts out all around you and a great big neon sign lights up that says "We have a winner!"
The door opens and you see a gameshow stage and a man with a huge grin waving you over.
