I was bimbling around a shop at the weekend and stopped by a big pile of flags (which only ever turn up when football is on) and a thought struck me, I checked each type of flag and every single one of them was made in China.
We're backing Britain alright, oh yes.

Autoglass, incidentally, seem to be a pretty well organised group - callout, organisation, insurance sorting out. Much gracias and snuggles to [livejournal.com profile] the_mendicant for suggesting them after my hapless car got smacked by a stone of dooooom.

Strawberry fair was quite good, didn't stay for any bands and missed quite a few people; very crowded this year.

I had a nosebleed. Now I do not.

What happened? Vandalism or accident?

Stone on the road cracked my screen.
Not bad really, 50 quid and insurance covers the rest - and no penalty to no claims!

At least all the bug marks will be removed from my window, then again they haven't turned up yet!

*nods* There's an insurance law somewhere that the windows are required for the safety of a car and will be replaced without damaging your no claims bonus. I found this out when my side window was smashed at the station.

Replacing the windscreen is a bit drastic for removing bug marks...
