I had a dream...

Well it was actually a nightmare. Now I don't remember dreams very often; there are ways and means to do so apparently, but at the moment - given my diabolical capacity to remember even real life let alone the fevered nighttime hallucinations of my deranged mind I'm frankly amazed I ever remember anything.
I do like to dream, well, everyone does - but rather I would like an insight as to what goes through my head whilst I have no direct conscious input to it, what sort of strange thoughts are lurking in my head so I can analyse myself. Whether we actually have any control over own minds in the first place is probably a big question in the first place. I often think that any dream, even a nightmare would be nice, just for something to have when I wake, but this one actually spooked me, it wasn't scary, as such, but it would more likely be labelled for 'disturbing content'. But anyway, I am, as usual, diverging from the matter at hand.

My dream was about me and my four pets, I had two rats and two hamsters, although at one point the hamsters grew long curly tails, but then I thought that "hamsters don't have tails" and they vanished again. Go figure.
Someone was coming to visit my house and as the dream progressed more and more people were in it, I'm not actually sure if these people were actually guests or living in my house, they didn't wear signs around their neck or anything.
Anyway; I needed to put my furry friends somewhere whilst the visitors were here, I bizarrely seemed to not have cages for them it seems, or the cages I did have were in pieces and required some kind of engineering masters degree to construct, I came back to them a few times and never really managed to build it.
The first ick part of the dream was for something I did, I was moving or filling some box and was carrying a load of stuff and poured it into a box, along with the rats and hamsters! One of the rats was squished and snuffed it. I was quite mortified by how utterly stupid I'd been and that I'd killed one of my lovely little pets :(
Fuzziness after this bit from memory, but the second ick part was that my other (now only) rat had run off and had run off into another room where there were a load of people. I shouted into the room to watch out for my pet and one guy lifted his huge boot and pretended to stomp down on it! I know they missed, but I yelled blue murder at them and ran over and my pet was flattened anyway; she'd been turned into a kind of furry disk, with a boot imprint on top. But worst of all she was still breathing and looking at me! Ick :(

I don't think I want nightmares anymore.

You can help by getting a time machine and hurrying time to Wednesday *snugs*

Hmmm, you may well be right about the vodka... I was alarmingly sober last night!
