Your talent with linguistics is something I am very envious of (ex. three attempts to spell 'envious' correctly). You stick by your friends and are willing to help people out.

That reminds me, need to make a plan what I need for the 27th and check with you what you've got and what I might need to bring from my kitchen (apart from the knife and the big pot).

Good idea, but not this week. I need to make sure I have everything for the National, find routes, arrange pick-up and all that.
