robinblokeReally quite tired; work is actually a rest at the moment after wearing myself out painting painting painting. It wasn't helped my me clobbering my knee with the claw on my hammer when removing some nails from the floor.
My bedroom is nearly done however, just need to touch up the walls and spoink a few stars on the ceiling and it's done, save for the carpet; which speaking of which a credit note arrived for this morning.
One of which was that I was offered some kind of job contracting for around 63k or so, some of the things in the job I could do, but one I knew I couldn't - then again given the track record of some contractors this wouldn't exactly be a hinderance...
The other dream was trés1 bizarre. I was invited to some house by a kid, who turned out to be a grown man along with 3 other people. This person had the ability to polymorph into absolutely anything and was as such kept happy by the entire world so that he didn't turn into something horrible and kill everyone. A general 'keep smiling' rule was applied around him. Anyway we pootled around the house for a bit for the required three day visit (no idea why three) basically doing what he said, kind of like simon says. andrewdavis (who I then recognised) and one of the other guests were selected for 'special treatment' and were basically drilled into doing very silly things then sent outside; they came back a bit later having somehow managed to find some pistols which the man told them to get rid of, so they put them on the cooker. I remember thinking 'firearms are useless against him, he'll just turn into a cloud of germs'. Anyway after talking to him about stuff I can't remember it was time to leave, at which point the other guests stole one of his expensive cars and raced off (there being 5 of them now) and I drove off home seperately.
1 This may or may not need an acute accent, but I wanted to put one there.
