robinblokeAh motivation, where are you... today is going to be one of those long long days that never seems to end. At least I'm awake, a decent nights sleep has sorted that out.
Life is a big barrel of biscuits1, sometimes you're a crumb, sometimes you're a chocolate chip. Today is more of a crumb day, insert random angst comment here... hmmm, an angst generator, that would be possibly amusing.
It's been a weekend of reflection into things, some good conversations about life the universe and everything; well life and religion anyway. It's always good to talk to people with similar views on such, talking to people with opposing views is useful as well but if you're trying to work out your own opinions and refine your understanding/beliefs you really need to talk to someone who deludes themselves in a similar way to you.
Everything is a facade.
It's also nice as a reassurance, that you're not alone in at least part of your paradigm, that things out there aren't all totally different.
Speeds, size, communications, all these things have changed so much; from little villages in mangrove swamps to a vast world that's interconnected with more news, information and things going on than any one person can possibly keep up with. No more knowing everyone in your little town, because now your town has been slotted into a packing case and racked with all the others to form endless rows of cases that merge into a blur of confusion.
