Oooh, I've been thinking about getting myself my first ever digital camera, and that one looks kinda neat... lotsa zoooooooom. Was there any reason why you chose that over the 252456295 others?

It's the upgrade from my previous (sadly demised) camera (which was an excellent piece of kit) and was recommended by a friend who's opinion I respect with regards to this sort of thing.
Plus as you say, zooooom! Nice resolution on it too, and not too pricey.
