Welcome to the secrets of food and dietry wisdom that is the 'L' plan diet. 1
With the 'L' plan diet we embrace the concept of 'Feel good, look good', to wit, if you enjoy eating something - then it must be good for you2, ergo it is good for your diet and you.
With this in mind the 'L' plan diet believes strongly in a calory controlled diet; we believe that the calory is a measure of taste, things with more calories (eg Chocolate) taste far better than things with no calories (eg Celery3). Thus for the 'L' plan diet you should choose high calory foods.
This is not to say that the 'L' plan diet is all about concentrating on watching your calories, oh no, we believe too in a carefully managed diet high in carbohydrates and low in fat, if possible.
Sugar is completely free of fat and high in nutricious and healthy carbohydrates, therefore we at the 'L' plan diet recommend eating as much sugar as you can possible manage.
But, conversely, the body needs also to process fat very carefully - and in order to understand how to process something it needs to be given practice - lots of it. So your high carbohydrate diet should be carefully balanced with a high fat diet to ensure your body has the maximum chance to learn about as much food as possible.
With careful adherance to this diet we believe you'll feel better in no time, and look good too - and if you don't, hell, you've been eating a load of decent food as opposed to all those other crappy diets that didn't work and made you eat a load of rabbitfood.
1 The 'L' is for 'Lard' - what did you expect?
2 Also known as the 'that which does not kill me makes me stronger' clause.
3 Not to mention being evil, green and a vegetable.

Date: 2003-10-02 05:20 am (UTC)Although I have to admit, I do like celery when it's smothered in crunchy peanut butter. And not that healthy dry gacky pure peanuts peanut butter, but the added salt added oil added everything tasty peanut butter. Num. I want some now.
