Entropy

I was off to see my parents on Sunday evening, mostly to say 'happy birthday' to my Granny for her 96th birthday. Shes not very mobile now, one of her legs she can't lift much and she has to use a frame but she's still got all her grey matter and dare I say it a better memory than me. I like my gran, she's great.
It did make me think, in a slightly morbid way, about the whole aging thing; with my dad talking about a will, my gran looking to work her way towards her 100th lap and suchlike. But which would you have degenerate from you? Your mind or your body? Stuck in a body unable to do anything or blissfully ignorant and scatty but still upwardly mobile.
Shine on.

I'd rather have neither.

Entropy; somethings got to go. Or you pop yourself before it starts to bite.

As in I'd rather have neither a functional body nor a functional mind.

Failing body - it's easier to fix. Alzheimer's is cruel for the suffferer (qv my gran) and their family, as they start frgetting who they are.
