Great idea! However, I have never played the rp game so I am a little unsure about what you wrote in the explanations on the User page of the community: 1. keep the 'distractions' comments to a minimum; one each maximum per story. - Meaning we should not post OOC comments? Or not challenge the stories written ICly? And one distraction comment per story per person, or overall?
2. At the end of each story run a poll where your fellow companions are invited to vote - Shoukd one story= one post, or be written in installments? Should the poll be posted with the last installment, or wait a bit for comments first?
1. Refers to challenges to the stories, or events to be overcome by the storyteller as pointed out by the others, as per my previous example. Too many of these gets in the way of the story and others getting to spin a yarn themselves. 2. Probably best to do story in small segments, like a mini chapter, giving people ample chance to challenge you. Only one challenge each per story, and try not to pester too much :) Probably best to wait for a few rousing noises from your audience, post your poll and then ask the next person to spin a tale.
