I am eating food, that not only has a patent number (EP01025764) but also a year of first publication for the data on the back, which is virtually a datasheet.
Most alarmingly of all this product is 'less that 5% fat' (3.5% by mass to be precise) but thankfully it is 28% sugar. So all is well.
