Niche market for the filling

robinblokeI have decided that the marketing world, such as it is, is simply not pandering to my requirements. I am an unfulfilled niche. Slogans such as 'Less than 5% fat' and 'Sugar free' are not going to inspire a buying frenzy in me. Information such as 'Contains one of your daily recommended servings of vegetables' is also equally unlikely to get me to buy it.
The sugar junkie carnivore market is wide open for the taking, and no-ones doing anything save perhaps Boost with their 'with glucose' slogan, which is quite admirable; their caffeine laced bar had me almost nervous to eat it; would I explode in a caffeine induced sugar overload? Sadly not... it was a nice bar however.
So c'mon Mars, Nestle et al. Lets see 'Now with 10% more sugar', 'even more unhealthy' '15% more fat' along with 'no vegetables in this thing', '100% meaty goodness', 'we don't know what it is, but sure as hell it's bad for you', 'Ingredients: You're better off not knowing' and 'Caution: This product has been proven to cause cancer in rocks.'

Date: 2003-02-25 06:33 am (UTC)Things are identified 'pork', 'beef', 'cheese' or simply vegetarian... Nothing was as popular (for curiousity) as the things which were simply and enegmatically entitled 'meat'...
We now know they're lamb, and thats just far less appealing really... ;)
