Behold and be slightly impressed, the first phase of my acme plot generator (and rumour generator) is now finished, what I need is a couple of hapless victims to have a look and give me extra suggestions for it, it's bare minimum at the moment... so comments welcome

Hmm, plots for vampire only, such a work in progress ;) Your rumour part also gives out 'Error!' 10 times on the page at the moment, but that's not a suggestion and you may already know.

As for suggestions... I don't really have any at the moment :/ I'm obviously a bad hapless victim/ tester. I noticed that there's no longer a physical description for a character (like short, mousy haired) but that the personality was still there (headstrong, arrogant etc.)

Okay, random comments/bugs/grammer bitches as I think of them ;-)

Might want to change *bigsize* to include A/An, as otherwise it gives "A international company..."

If you enter a non-integer value for Number it moans at you, then proceeds to generate 10 items anyway. Also, do you really want it to be able to generate 0 items?

Is the Rumours drop-down box meant to allow free text entry? Doesn't seem like it, unless you want people to edit the data file. Or does it pull from the data file anyway, in which case it definitely doesn't seem like it.

On a UI note, I'd personally move the Filename field (and possible the Number one as well) up into the tabbed area, so you can have it save names.txt, rumours.txt, plots.txt etc by default.

Otherwise, looks exceptionally nifty. When the Plot slider works, I'll try and break that too ;-)

GrammAr, damn LJ for its lack of edit features. And on the subject

The council has recently hired *companies*, *cosize* For *job*. reads horribly with punctuation in, consider pulling full-stop out of *cosize* or rewriting it?
