Feelings are something else, the two are mutually incompatible in a lot of ways; you can't express, I think, in any full way, feelings with words that you could with just a look, a smile or any simple physical motion.
Words are too flat without this, they are just hollow pieces of formless communication that are read without the expression and feeling we can give them by speaking and seeing, no depth. Any emotion there is false, second hand, an echo rather than the real thing.
