Ol' Tony is trying to make an art out of avoiding issues it would seem, and highlighting the ones he wants - but in my eye he's not doing so great on this. While increasingly people are asking "Well are we going to bomb the s**t out of Iraq or what?" he's saying "Nope, not saying a word, will discuss that when parliment reforms... when I get back from this conference, when I..."

Do yourself a favour and grow a spine man, face the issues. I know there isn't (sadly) any sizable credible opposition, but at least make an effort to look like you're concerned about the issues, eh?

You are aware that he's on the front page of the papers today for having a prolonged go at Dubya over global warming and development?

It was sort of my point, he's having a go with the global warming biz but is stolidly avoiding the "nuke Iraq" biz; sort of warming us up first with global warming and what a concerned great guy he is before he works out what to do with Iraq.
