(no subject)

Well I had a fantabulous weekend with the lovely the_mendicant mmmm :) Many funs things were done and lots of quality time was had.

On Sunday I saw the new Battlestar Galactica mini series all-in-one thanks to poetman which was, I have to say, pretty cool. Very dark in places, excellent CG and looks like it's a nice story.

RIP My boots

Many many years ago, after the advice of the ever knowledgable philw I bought a fine pair of german para boots. These boots have been with me for many years now and have steadily degenerated until the back heel of one of them has fallen apart so much it rubs when I walk. The rest of the boots are just fine, but sadly they've reached a state where it's just not repairable.
It's sad to see them go, but sometimes you have to move on.
Walk on silently my size 7 friends.

Well...

...it's taken eight years and far too much money, but finally it is mine, the Dune Spice Opera CD that is, original. *sigh*
So far, apart from the death of my boots, this is a good week :)
