I bough some milk this morning, exciting huh? However my conditioned response whilst on semi-autopilot to work was amusing, if worrying.
Assistant: Thats (X) please.
(I hand her (X) and stand waiting)
Pause
Assistant: (X) Thank you.
I nod, wait.
Pause.
Assistant: (X) Thank you.
I blink, realise that my programmed response whereby I should be getting some change at this point isn't going to happen as I actually gave her exact change, then mumble apologies and bimble out.

Excellent, I have managed to program controlled responses in myself.

Wonderous! My body has shifted into wierd mode, I can feel it. It's like that thing, you know, fuzzyness, or a shimmer on the tip of your earlobes, a peach skip roping scents down your nostrils, your horoscope on crack cocaine being picked up by a passing pimp. Or something. Regardless I haven't had this strange shimmery effect for ages so it's like welcoming an old friend back; so wierd Al on and let the mind bubble. Hopefully I'll braindump at some point or just go for it now... nah.

Hacked (almost literally) my way through truetype fonts and the mess that is the windows registry, and have code that dynamically updates fonts and registry entries at runtime. Go me.
