More awake than I expected; back into the old grind, sorta, the project of doom is going quite well. But enough of that, it's not exactly interesting; but alas, at the moment my brain is empty (some might say this is it's usual state) of anything interesting to witter about; "I have no thoughts but I must braindump" is about as close as it gets, as once again I ramble on about absolutely nothing as a means to fill space up and eat up valuable seconds of your existance without actually having imparted any kind of information or said anything of interest whatsoever. Call it a finely honed skill, or art. If it is art it's going to be modern art, which I maintain is in generally utter pap. I mean making a model of Africa in elephant dung to show that it was founded on the backs of elephants (or something) is all well and good, but it could just be interpreted (as someone pointed out, not I - I hasten to add) that 'Africa is sh!t'. Little details like that get missed out a lot, every now and then you have to wonder how people got away with it all. Like the obvious class 'A' drugs the producers must have been taking when they made the teletubbies, the lack of research for the company SMEG - time for a change of image mayhap? And many many more. Anyway, enough of me bimbling and wasting your life - switch off the TV and go off and do something less boring instead.

Awww :)

Well, I finally bowed to my impulse buying compulsions and ordered a new DVD player (not in black though, boo :( ) from Amazon all the reviews look good, and while my old player is spiffy (and black) it has some trouble with more complicated discs. Which begs the question before I brave EBay for the first time as a seller; anyone want to buy an old DVD player? Less than 2,000 dvd's on the clock. One careful owner.

Just before I went to Whitby I noticed a box of freezy ice-lollies I hadn't frozen in my kitchen and chucked them in; so today I had an ice lolly walking back to work after lunch :)
