Never dismiss the power of nuclear weapons

In Starcraft at least. I'm trawling through the Broodwar expansion at the moment and am probably about halfway through the human missions, having completed all the Protoss (yay!) ones. At the start of one mission I was given the choice of destroying either my enemies nuclear or battleship capacity, maybe some bloody minded part of me decided that getting rid of the battleships would be a better idea.
Passed the mission however, seige tanks rock. So do battleships, so I probably made the right choice.
