The water dripped slowly from the half-curled leaf bowed under the weight of the new-morning dew onto the face of the man lying underneath it.
A faint grunt and a half-conscious wave of his hand were his only response.
Yeelea pouted, humans were so lazy; forever asleep during the best parts of the day, mornings, midnight's, the last shreds of sunlight vanishing over the horizon.
Her wings briefly blurred in a shimmer of gossamer light as the first few shards of sunlight began to creep through the half-canopy of trees above them both, doubtless he'd never remember the night before - they never did. They always seemed to be more willing to forget about things than remember.
The man rolled over with a groan and a wince, his face contorting into a pained expression that anyone who had ever had a really wild night of drinking would recognise as the pain of a hangover from hell itself.
Yeelea sighed as her wings flickered once more, carrying her gracefully up and away, he was no fun anymore, humans were always only brief entertainment - no stamina. So with a tinkling swirl of jewelled faerie dust that rained lightly down over the man below she flew away into the forest and away from the site of the party the night before.

John groaned and sat up rubbing his head, his mouth felt like it had been stuffed with wood, his head felt like it had been split open with an axe. Faintly, almost at the back of his mind through his thumping headache he half caught the fading sound of tinkling music. He shook his head to clear the sound away. That was the last time he'd ever drink cider.

And most definately so.

I aquired myself a wonderous pack of yummy cadburys choc brunch bars, as a brekkie treat, and have been enjoying chomping them.
However yesterday I checked the ingrediants, in a moment of boredom and discovered they have raisins in them.
Now I don't mind raisins hard baked in biscuits but apart from that I can't stand their texture, slimey and icky - but until now I hadn't noticed them in the bar anyway.
But now I can't eat the bars without conciously, or even subconciously searching the taste and texture as I eat to see if I'm eating a raisin, half ruined the bar for me it has.

Bah.

Ignorance is bliss.

My Aztec horoscope, funky...

The day is 11 Calli - House
The sign of Calli is the house, which signified the rest and peace associated with it.
The presiding deity is Tepeyollotl, an earth god, the Heart of the Mountains, whose roar was the noise of earthquakes and avalanches. He is also called the Great Ocelot and the Lord of Jewels who lives under the earth.

His influence is good, symbolising the strength associated with avalanches, the courage of the Ocelot who is the fiercest of the wild animals, and the wealth of jewels.

People born on this day are generally peaceful natured and who enjoy the comforts of home, but at the same time, are strong of character and the sort of person one should try not to argue with. Their nature might well disguise a fearful temper but nevertheless, they are the sort that can be depended on as can the home.

Anyone born on this day will make an ideal partner if you are seeking a stable, home loving individual, but not if you are looking for someone who enjoys high life.

Hmmm, well, most people should know what I think about horoscopes and suchlike, which reminds me I have something to have a mini-rant, well mini-opinion, about later

Right, read the above please before moaning ;) all the following is my own opinion and not meant to directly trample on your own personal Zen, if you do carry on and read this then it's your own fault if I mess with your mojo so no feedback for that please!

But, here I go... as regards to religion and belief anyway, my refuting of most mainstream religions (and from that just about anything else through cynacism).

Anyway, enough waffle and whatnot, all I really wanted to talk about was the fairly old debate of free will vs. Omniscience, of which the former we are said to have been granted and the latter God is said to possess.
I'm firmly of the belief that the two cannot exist simultaneously.
Since Omniscience is the the state of being omniscient; iehaving infinite knowledge, which includes knowing what everyone will choose or do in a given situation and also the ultimate fate and result of everything ever free will, which to me is the freedom or ability to choose; if what you choose is already known, then it is pre-ordained, if it is pre-ordained then you have no choice, what you will do at that point is set and you do not actually choose, you are at that point simply a set program of choices following a preknown path - freewill does not exist.
Ergo, any religion that says that God is Omniscient and that free will exists is, to me, fundamentally flawed and in my opinion, rather sadly deluded.
And on the loving us/beauty/world is wonderful vs. world is terrible view, for every flower theres a clip of ammo, so I don't buy that one either.

Hmmm... going to stop there
