The figure groaned. Slowly it moved as the daylight peeped through to land on the scattered remains of where it had slept.
One leg kicked slightly, hitting the female who slept next to it. She awoke with a start and turned to look at her mate, disapprovingly, before getting up and moving away to start the day.
He opened an eye and groaned again before closing it once more, sleep was what he needed.
He was rudely awakened again by a kick from his mate.
"I told you John, if you're going to go drinking you sleep on the Sofa!"
