robinblokeSomeone said something to me this weekend, and I finally realised last night (horah, insomnia when I only had 4 hours to sleep) thats what had been bugging me all weekend, annoyingly. My brain has a lot to answer for sometimes.
Anyway, ramble ramble, yadda yadda, this thing they said, I feel like I ought to say something, but the context in which they said it could possible be misconstrued by me or it could be just me not understanding the situation. Since any response I give could be seen as somewhat critical and I'm not one really to want to cause hassle. More anaylsis required I think...

Date: 2002-01-07 01:58 am (UTC)When I did history at school we had a teacher who used to dictate to us, and he'd say: only one more sentence to go and then recite a lengthy paragraph, SEMI-COLON, and then another. I don't know if half of his stuff was grammatically correct, but he was a cool teacher; was in a band called Thousand Bomber Fonz; Kudos for the name alone.

Thankfully the Zen break earlier today in my LJ has relaxed my mind on the whole thing. "Know thyself before knowing others" so I'm not that hassled by the thing anyway now, still a little irksome however.
