Not good. Went to feed my rats this morning, and noticed Rizzo wasn't moving very much, twitch was her usual bouncy self. I don't normally have much time to say hello to them in the morning but after a little waving of food and examing her carefully she can't seem to barely move at all, just her front paws; she was limping a little the other day and I've been worried about her, but she has a vets appointment on monday that I was hoping to take her to, to see what was up. Twitch was even picking up bits of food for her and putting them in front of her nose for her to eat, which was such a heartwarming sight. I'm going to make an emergency vets appointment this morning the second the vet is open, I have a horrible nasty feeling that she may have to be put to sleep as shes getting old; this doesn't look like it's going to be a good day.

*hugs*

Vets are wonderful things and can often help; and the idea of an emergency appointment is a good one. Even if it's just age, vets can help with painkillers and such like.

Would you maybe be able to take her to the vets in your lunch break if you have nice bosses?

Good luck whatever *hugs*

(Who had a wonderful dog from when I was 6 to aged 20, when German Shepherds aren't supposed to live beyond 12...)
