The only way to guarantee being able to camp with people you know is to turn up at the same time as them, get allocated the same area, and find a spot big enough for all the tents in your party. It's very difficult to 'hold' a spot for a friend for more than a couple of hours, so we should try to meet up outside and go in together. We'll be arriving on Thursday afternoon, does that work for you at all?
