Through the branches of the trees the last of the sunset faded away leaving only the pale light of the moon to light the clearing.
Nothing moved for several moments, save for the branches slowly waving in the wind like arms reaching out to some unseen saviour.
All was silent. An air of anticipation held it in check as countless unseen eyes watched and waited.
A cloud brought darkness, the moons face covered and darkness falling completely on the ground.
In the darkness something stirred.
The cloud passed on, only a few moments had passed.
In the centre of the clearing now was a single white flower, surrounded by pale green leaves that seemed to almost form a cup around its snowdrop like head.

I'm thinking of moving, same village, but to a detached place; saw a very nice place on Saturday.

Depends how much my current home is worth really.
