Part of this story caught my eye; specifically this line

"Tony Blair and Charles Kennedy are laughing all the way to the bank." From a Eurosceptic Tory MP.

That the two of them are mentioned together is somewhat significant I think...

I note that the three party leaders seem to be getting nearere to equal time on the news now, too.

I'm disturbed by anyone who thinks Kilroy's a lefty.

Hopefully Kilroys shot himself in the foot by challenging for leadership, or if nothing else it should hopefully cause a lot of friction for the UKIP and tear them apart somewhat.

I'm not sure if the UKIP tearing itself will impact the major parties other than providing a sideshow for the media. I suppose it could have a positive effect on the Tory Party. However, I'm sure that they will have to either sort out their own internal divisions on Europe and other issues or agree to ignore them before they are remotely electable.
