Last night was fantatic fun! Thanks to everyone who turned up, so much cheese, oh my word. I'm at a loss to choose the cheesiest song of the night, although Loki playing Supertrooper and Sarah playing Fame are front runners :)

After all the worries and chaos and might not be runnings the night was a fantastic success, the place was packed (ended up being one out, one in) there was no trouble all evening and the only real problem was the lack of space to dance because the dancefloor was packed!

Rah!

A massive thank you to [livejournal.com profile] scy11a for organising this and letting me loose at the decks with prime cheddar...

It sounded like you had a great night and the set list looks cheesily cheestastic!

Well done - what's next? An Austin Powers 60's night?

As usual, my comment is totally un-related to your post, but has the redeeming feature of containing penguins:

I blame a mis-spent youth in record shops.

I collected Thompson Twins, Spandau ballet, Durran Durran, Ultravox, Cheesy early 80's compilations (by RONCO!) and of course, my main obsessive collection focus:

Adam and the Ants.

Gosh, it's like Top Trumps, isn't it?

I'll play the "Captain Beaky and His Band" on original vinyl card.
