The weekend that was
Mar. 22nd, 2004 08:59 amEdited highlights of things that happened at the weekend
* Saw
the_mendicant who is quite wonderously fantabulous. Horah. :)
* Went to Rockworld/Jillys with
davywavy and
puddingcat which was great fun, initial quiet start but the DJ played my request (The Prodigy, surprise) and mucho cheese was played and danced to, including Freestyler, oh my word.
* Went to a Chinese buffet, ate many duck pancakes
* Drove through the Derbyshire countryside, which is really very nice indeed, I see a weekend break ahead here in the future with a certain someone...
* Made Manchester -> Cambridge in under three hours. All at legal speed limit, honest guv.
* In an entirely unrelated issue my car can do 106 mph.
* Fitted the sphere light to my bedroom, horah! A bit of repainting, stars to stick and then a carpet to fit and it's done! rah!
* Took parents out for mum's birthday and mothers day meal, had a great evening.
Bad points
* Missed the last EB, which apparently rocked.
* Driving far, far too much.
* Still can't take that second city in Jagged Alliance 2, Iron man mode is hell.
* It's now Monday.
If a tree falls in a forest and kills a mime, does anyone care?

Date: 2004-03-22 04:34 pm (UTC)i'm bored, head. blah blah blah. -smooch-
seems to have been a relatively good weekend!
YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!
Date: 2004-03-22 09:26 pm (UTC)It is NOT big and it is NOT clever to use the Queen's Highway as your own private race-track. Just because your vehicle can achieve the unheard of (and horse frightening) velocity of 106 miles per hedgehog does NOT mean that you should attempt to make it do so. Grow up.
In an entirely unrelated issue my car can do 148 mph. ;-)
