Date: 2004-02-17 02:52 am (UTC)I think every chicken salad I've ever had contained chicken (a meat), sometimes eggs (a meat product), mayo (or sometimes ranch dressing, which is yummy and not a vegetable, nor is mayo), and chopped pickles (and while pickles USED to be a vegetable back when they were cucumbers, the cucumbers are now embalmed, so they may not qualify as veggies any longer). People do tend to put lettuce and tomato on the sandwich along with the chicken salad, but the lettuce can be taken off (though it does add a nice crunch) and tomato is actually a fruit, but could also be taken off.
So I think you're safe.
Although by now, if it killed you, you're already dead. ;)
