Footnote: A fistfull of dreams
Jul. 7th, 2003 09:23 amI'd been putting off something I'd been meaning to do for ages. I'd come around to understanding a feeling from another side as a result of something else, and hard as it still is it is now clearer - not to say it's entirely manageable, but it's something I can deal with. Swiftly on the heels of this my brain decides to give me a backlash with a whole series of flash-cut dreams in stages almost like adverts. "Beep beep beep," said my alarm "Welcome back from the break, it's time for work.". That said I know I had a whole host of different dreams, little snippets, but only one has actually managed to stay in my mind because of previously vaguely referered to reference which likely almost noone will know what the hell I'm talking about, but hey, my journal my strangeness.
So in essence this entry is more a personal milestone to mark something to myself, which I hopefully will remember, that I have seen the grass from both sides of the fence and both sides it tastes just as good, and bad, but in different ways; I was always certain of something about it all and now, even more so, I am convinced that is the case because I've made that decision from the other side. I've watched faces at both ends and felt the kickback either way.
So let the grass grow, the fence can fall away and rot and I'll wander around the field. Wandering to wherever I can find the next crop of greenery to fill my belly.
Baaaaaa.
