Diary of someone trapped in London

Monday; Bimble to Electric Dreams (yay) and Shopping spree (yay) with [livejournal.com profile] duranorak (yay) new funky mask, a horrible first hour (for ED, perfect for EB) that lead into some much better music. Meet new random people, get tired and crawl home for way too little sleep.
Tuesday; Decided that my hotel isn’t too bad a rat-hole, crawl to course on time after around 3 hours sleep, discover I could have had another ½ hour’s sleep, curses! Stay awake through course (amazing) and actually learn something (pure virtual functions, methodology and other really interesting stuff). Good food at their canteen – blimey. Am amused by huge advert poster hanging opposite training offices advertising nearby table dancing club. Market placement or what?
Crawl back to rat hole, go shopping for random essentials and discover that local shop not only stocks Haagen Daaz and radox but also Mad Dog 20/20, have brief conversation with owner on the history of possibly the most vile drink in existence. Buy some for old times sake.
Bimble back to hotel, get key for minibar and promptly fill it with my own stuff instead (1.20 for a bottle of cola?? Even if I don’t drink the stuff)
Discover local internet café/Indian. Get internet fix. Bimble randomly. Stare at screen and wonder what to type next….

That’ll do

Oh and discover new loathing for MS-Word as it replaces quotes with it's own bizarre characters. Curse you Bill!
