Bar Uno on Inverness Street (opposite Camden Outdoor Market right by the tube) is very nice and very reasonable. I usually go there
For something a little more stunning try the Hari Krishna temple, it has amazing food and atmosphere
The Rainforest Cafe is expensive (well, not cheap) and wonderful - but the beggie options are limited
There is a HUGE chinese restaurant off Leicester Square (woos I think) that is ver very cheap and famous for the world's rudest waiters - they're trained that way. Went there a few years back and had a full 3 course meal and drinks for under a tenner
In Soho (I think) is Garlic and shots - _everything_ on the menu (including desert) has garlic in it, not for the romantic then!
For a fun one, try the Rock Island Diner at the Trocadero, not cheap but it is amusing, not that expensive either
On Knightsbridge is the Spghetti House, which used to be very reasonably priced, and very nice - fond memories there!
