Dreams are stranger than truth

9:16 and I can still remember elements of a dream last night.
It was a dream where reality met an action movie, or rather although I 'knew' I was in reality I also 'knew' that I had to act in accordance with the laws of hollywood that apply with regards to movies1.
Anyway. I was in this old tavern, snow blasting outside as 'we' (I have no idea who else) sheltered from the cold. And although I 'knew' it was reality I also knew that for this story I was the sidekick - and as a result I was sulking.
What's more as a sidekick for some reason or other I had to learn Finnish, which resulted in me carrying a phrasebook everywhere.
The whole story/movie/dream revolved around this sword of powertm which the evil guystm wanted to get and the hero was going to use to slay some evil or other. However being not the brainiest of heros he'd (I know not who) left it in plain view in his room propped up against the wall.
At this point a Mongolian horde arrived, looking for the sword. But, being a cunning Mongolian horde they disguised themselves as cleaners in order to search the tavern, cunning swines.
I however realised this and hid the sword under the matress of the bed. Which fooled them, right up to the point where the hero came in and I whispered where I'd hid the sword to him and a Mongolian Horde cleaning woman heard me. At that point we had to flee, I remember selecting a two handed mace and a nice broadsword to fight our way out with.
The dream finished there, although this is I suspect for the best as the sidekick always gets killed in these situations so the hero can avenge them.

There will be a heroic rescue.
The bad guys will die.
The lead character survives, always.
The good guy gets the girl.
There will be a fight scene, the hero will win.
Etc...
